I paint because I have to...it allows me to breathe and to stay deeply connected to spirit. I am able to celebrate goddess energy by creating pieces that celebrate the feminine. I focus my thoughts to visually be able to celebrate love, joy, prosperity, humility and forgiveness.
I have been an artist my entire life-my mom allowed me to embrace my creative self through dance, drama and the visual arts. She also emotionally and financially invested in me and she taught me that I was worthy.

My artistic training has been very nontraditional. Something that i have found so valuable in my journey is to do what you can with what you have now. As you go along, you expand your skills and add them to your creative experience. The more you do, the more you learn, and most importantly you learn about self.

All the pieces created are one-of a-kind. I have been so motivated to tie dye and paint for over 26 years because each garment always has it own character. After dyeing a piece I can't wait for it to cure so I can see how it has turned out, it is such a thrill. Most pieces are created to be worn on either side or front to back. Creative souls should be able to quickly get dressed and look "funky fabulous".

So now at the age of fifty-two, I can say that I have created a life I love with a partner that I truly love. My life allows me to create what souls are waiting for, sensual clothing (goddess gear and shaman shirts), fine wines (pandama wines), natural body care (black water, soaps, scrubs, butters bars and repellent) ...life's simple pleasures.

Tracy Douglas has created a line of all-natural Health & Beauty products that are now being marketed under the Blackwater label. Now in the line are a series of fruit infused soaps created from essential oils, oatmeal, coconut oil, and cucumber.

She also creates a Neem natural insect repellent/moisturizer. Blackwater body butters and sugar scrubs are also a part of this line

A major part of Tracy's work involves surface design that includes working with fabric. For almost 30 years Tracy has been a master at the art of tie dye. She utilizes dye-friendly fabrics to create these colorful masterpieces.

Reiki (pronounced RAY KEY) is an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through everyone.

Allows the soul to breathe
Returns the spirit to center
Teaches the mind to remain
